Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
There are many reasons to seek therapy. Everyone has unique needs and I will work with you to craft a plan for therapy that is effective for you.
I primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy because it has a strong evidence base and is effective for a wide variety of mood problems. I have additional experience and training in Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy (ERP) for the treatment of OCD and Harm Reduction for assisting clients in changing their substance use.
I specialize in working with anxiety problems including: Worry, Social Anxiety, Phobias, Health Anxiety, Panic Attacks and OCD.
Problems with anxiety can present at the same time as other issues so I also offer treatment to address the problems that often co-occur with anxiety including: Depression, Insomnia, Work Stress, Trauma, Anger, Grief, and Unhealthy Substance Use.
I love consulting with other therapists to deepen our understanding of complicated skills and techniques. I have experience leading trainings and work shops, facilitating groups, and working one on one.
